• A SELECTION FROM THE POEM "ELLIPSES"

    my pain illustrates an image

    of a tree dropping leaves

    rocks tumbling off a mountain

    sings in falsetto

    grief in a foreign language

composes a novel of your disappearance

and I starve myself of attention

THIS IS WHAT I IMAGINED

"The earliest of memories that recalls the moment of self-discovery was when I was able to place a pencil to paper and create expressions with lines. Because I wasn't able to embrace my queerness without addressing my blackness and masculinity, I began creating images that mirrors the person I was forced to repress."

Love From A Past Life is the continuum of conversations with oneself as if the said distant lover is accessible to the spiraling truth of memory in suffering and the denial of feeling bound to someone who isn't willing to continue a relationship after a complicated encounter.

BOOK 1

I love another, and thus I hate myself begins the journey of self-discovery. There was a broken piece within the body as Eric grew to notice. With collection poems as a journal entry, there wasn't an idea of it having some kind of significance or even relevance to becoming a holistic story. This came into place when he realized writing fiction was a skill of imagination but these characters were an adjacent resemblance to what was written in his journal. None of these words came as a coincidence, it was all meant to fall from grace.

"At such a vulnerable stage of my life, I found myself helplessly falling into an abyss of misunderstanding."
