THIS NEXT PIECE HAS BEEN OVERGROWN FOR YEARS AND YEARS
A QUOTE FROM THE OPENING POEM
WRITER IN THE DARK
( between the mirror and the mind, this poem traces a silent battle with self-image, revealing the rawness of scornfulness and the unconditional adoration )
"....and I stay up late at night conjuring words for you, my sister. because I love you without knowing your name. I’ll lay my trust in the warmness of your arms. I’ll give you a piece of me if that means you’ll stay alive..."

WRITER'S NOTE:
"This next piece has been overgrown for years and years. A type of pain that presents itself in anger and selfishness. What hasn’t changed and what had always happened came out of the writer as a mirror of history. Things evolved with evolution but why are we still stagnant? Because time only passes, all we have is the memory that lives in our body but doesn’t contain the context. Though we can hope. Maybe in the next few decades, there will not be the glimpse of memory, just records, citations. Written proof that only explains where we came from but don’t take this piece as a grain of salt.
There was no other way to release these inner-concerns about the world around us. Because we don't see it as it is, most of us see it as we are, and the mistake to believe that we don't have some way to go evidently prolongs the process of change. Whether you like it or not. Even if this isn't your experience, something doesn't seem right.
I've seen so much with these eyes and absorb so much in the brain, now my body continues to keep the memory. Black is the warmest color began with one poem fourteen years ago from the full collection release. The rest were collected over the years and some new one were written. The origins began when I was four. I discovered my spectacle, in which was the my complexion. This is not a cry for help. This is a collection of poetry that is a series of spite and holistic rhetoric."
